This professional presentation, which lasted about 25 minutes, was given virtually using Zoom. The audience in attendance is a team of enablement designers, consultants, and specialists.

The presentation reviewed the Dick and Carey model of instructional design. I reviewed the 9 key steps, the importance of instructional analysis within this model, and how this model is iterative. Additionally, I engaged the audience by allowing them to practice creating sub-goals using Mural

Lessons learned:

If I were to conduct this presentation again, I would provide a pre-read to the participants so that they could become somewhat familiar with the content prior to the call. I would also consider another more structured activity to engage participants. Lastly, I would make certain that I had the right equipment in front of me. Since I conducted this presentation while I was on business travel, I did not have the number monitors that I typically work with. I was unable to see the participants' reactions throughout the presentation because I was presenting my PowerPoint slide deck on screen.
